Hi! I am SeOnna and my mom is Jamie Southwick, we are the creators of Ginger Baby. There is nothing that we love more than babies and kids. We are both mothers and registered nurses who have cared for numerous children, and we want to continue to do that.
When my son was born he had a full head of red curly hair (I'm sure you can guess the inspiration for our company name). He had very sensitive skin though and slept too hot in the common cotton pajamas we purchased, and would have slept too cold if he wasn’t covered enough. This made for sleepless nights. My mother and I went on a search for pajamas that were gentle on baby skin, were silky soft, had the right amount of stretch, had adorable yet functional designs, and something clean/neutral. We could not find the perfect pajama (in other words, we are pajama snobs). We decided we would create them, and we knew the only way to do that was with bamboo material. Bamboo is a buttery soft, breathable, hypoallergenic fabric that regulates your body temperature. It’s what every baby deserves.
We have drawn out every single design of ours and make adjustments as needed hoping you will love them as much as we do. Our goal is to create a luxury product with even better quality. In addition, we know that there are so many mothers and precious babies that have faced difficult circumstances, leaving them with almost nothing. With that being said, we are always looking for a way to help, so a portion of every purchase will be used to donate not only premium bamboo products, but a variety of necessities to Women and Children Shelters, Military Families, Foreign Countries, etc.
